Course Expectations

Additional Expectations:

Pens only…this is not math. I honestly have no issues with pencils, but the number of times the pencil sharpener needs to be used in a class period has reached a disruptive level. I have asked student to bring back-ups and that has gone to no avail.
Name on papers handed in…Usually my handwriting forensics can detect some, but the amount of nameless papers has been overwhelming this year. There will be a point penalty applied to nameless papers at this point.
All late work is due before or during homeroom the following school day. I will obviously take into account IEP's and any family emergencies that arise. The amount of late work this year has been on the rise in my class. I have previously allowed a two day grace period and the amount of late work has still been unusually high. Previous methods of lunch detentions have not been a deterrent either.
Students must see me after an absence. There are many bugs going around this year and I understand that. Having students coming to me and setting up time to see me about class instruction is imperative to their success. Grabbing the worksheets just isn't cutting it this year.
