8/28,
Thursday: Bring in an item for our back bulletin
board that represents "you." Past students have
brought in pictures, sports items, symbols of favorite hobbies,
and more. Use your imagination, but remember: I must
hang 93 items, so keep them relatively small.
8/29,
Friday: Write me a one-page essay titled, "Here's
What You Need to Know About Me, Mrs. Curran." This paper
may be typed or handwritten, as long as it is neat. You may tell
me anything you think I should know, whether or not it concerns
academics. You'll have a chance to tell me what kind of student
you are in Tuesday night's homework, so feel free to focus on other
areas.

Sept. 9: Summer Reading Assignment: Click on

reading assessment, which was reviewed in class 8/29. Students
who attended Polson in 7th grade but who have not read one of the
eight required books may submit the assignment based on another
book; however, five points will be deducted from the grade.
